Elsa Pataky gave fans a better look at her Thor: Love and Thunder cameo with husband Chris Hemsworth in a post celebrating the actor's birthday. Pataky and Hemsworth have been a married couple since December 2010. Pataky was featured in Korg's opening montage in which he discussed where Thor had been following Avengers: Endgame, where her wolf-woman was featured as one of the God of Thunder's lovers.

Thor: Love and Thunder focused on the God of Thunder having to face intergalactic killer Gorr the God-Butcher (Christian Bale) and the sudden return of Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as the Mighty Thor amidst his own quest for a new purpose. However, the most recent Marvel Cinematic Universe film had no shortage of cameos amidst its cast. From minor roles like Melissa McCarthy joining Luke Hemsworth, Matt Damon, and Sam Neil's Asgardian acting troupe to recap Thor: Ragnarok and Taika Waititi's What We Do In The Shadows co-star Jonathan Brugh taking on the role of the god Rapu, to Brett Goldstein's post-credits Hercules cameo that introduced the Greek demigod to the MCU, Love and Thunder featured plenty of small appearances by faces close to those involved in the production.

Pataky took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post in which she celebrated and wished Hemsworth a happy birthday, sharing a number of images of her husband. In the post, Pataky included a black and white behind-the-scenes image from Thor: Love and Thunder, where she starred alongside Hemsworth as a wolf-woman. Pataky isn't the only Hemsworth family member to appear in the film, as Hemsworth and Pataky's daughter played a role in Waititi's sequel to Thor: Ragnarok. India Rose Hemsworth portrayed Love, Gorr's daughter, whom the villain loses at the start of the film, fueling both his anger at Rapu and hatred for all gods that the Necrosword takes advantage of, motivating Gorr's campaign of vengeance. Gorr would ultimately revive Love through his wish to Eternity upon losing the Necrosword's influence and being moved by Thor and Jane's love. He then leaves his daughter in the care of the God of Thunder once he passes from the sword's corruption. Hemsworth's daughter's cameo adds an extra emotional layer to Thor's ending, as the character decides to raise his fallen foe's daughter as his own child.

Thor: Love and Thunder has no shortage of cameos, with Hemsworth theorizing Waititi made multiple cameos that have yet to be uncovered. However, Pataky's cameo is one of the film's more emotional appearances, as it allows both Hemsworth and Pataky to act alongside one another since the actress made a brief appearance in Thor: The Dark World as a stand-in for Portman. Not only does Pataky's post give fans a better look at her brief cameo, but is a heartwarming celebration of the actors' birthday.
